WELCOME TO UPCOUNTRY OUTREACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
Upcountry Outreach For Development is a charity NGO operating in Masaka, Kalangala, and Lwengo in central Uganda advocating for the protection and promotion of children's welfare in our communities, improving and re-directing child-mothers' ways of living and code of conduct for positive perception of life in society for a positive living plus improving the youths and women's standards of living in rural communities
WHAT WE DO
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
We provide education and training programs for children, youths, and women in rural areas. Our programs focus on basic literacy, vocational training, and life skills development.
HEALTHCARE SERVICES
We address the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases among adolescents in secondary schools and school dropouts by encouraging them to test for sexually transmitted diseases and seek treatment.
We furthermore extend screening and testing services to them since they need extra care, we teach adolescents about family planning methods, menstrual health and hygiene management that they need to know about family planning methods that they need to know to stay healthy.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
we encourage economic empowerment through training school dropouts in making reusable sanitary pads for commercial and survival purpose. we train in craft making like basket making etc.

We are committed to making a positive impact in rural communities. Our programs are designed to address the unique challenges faced by children, youths, and women in these areas. We work closely with local communities to ensure that our programs are sustainable and have a lasting impact.
